Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim authored numerous works on spiritual refinement, purification of the soul, and the rectification of the heart. Of these writings, Madarij al-Salikin is often regarded as one of his most comprehensive and profound contributions in this field.

In this monumental work, he offers a detailed exposition of Manazil al-Sa’irin, exploring the spiritual stations through which the soul journeys toward Allah. His analysis is framed through the opening chapter of the Qur’an – Umm al-Qur’an – and particularly the verse: “It is You (alone) we worship and You (alone) we ask for help.”
