This is My Belief and Creed

This is my BELIEF & CREED The Aqidah of Ahlu-Sunnah Wal-Jamaah by Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman ar-Rajihi

Indeed Allah (سبحانه و تعالى‎) has sent His Messenger, Muhammad, with guidance and the true religion. This purpose is to make this religion the uppermost even if the Polytheists detest it. The Prophet (ﷺ) has conveyed the Message of Isläm in the most profound way. The Pious Predecessors, from the Companions, their students (i.e., the second generation of Muslims), and Imams that came after them. They were on the right path due to adhering to His guidance (ﷺ)  and following in his footsteps.

They upheld the correct belief in Allah, His Angels, His Scriptures, His Messengers, the Last Day, Divine Decree, and Ordainment-the good and disliked. They complied with Allah's commands and abstained from His prohibitions. They became enlightened by the Quran and Sunnah and thus were on the correct path.

These individuals are the people of the Sunnah and Jamä'h who are upon the truth. They received aid and assistance. After some time, when the people became distant from the strict adherence (of the Qur'än & Sunnah), they changed, altered, and split into various sects and factions. However, Alläh (سبحانه و تعالى‎) preserved this 'Ummah and fundamental principles of the religion.
